Poppy

Flower, beautiful, growing from the Earth and connecting to the sky.  Fixed focus, take it in and let it out, purity, brilliance, purpose.

I love steel.  Here, I put together a poppy, large petals hammered from thick sheet metal.  The vase is made from a thick sheet metal, too.   The pistil is high voltage tube, argon, for a dim purple glow.
